    Living up to her name, Charitykit hauled a basket, the size of her small frame, she found with a beautiful embroidery of a blossoming pomk lily in the still, reflecting blue water. Her teeth clasped around the tree-fiver handle to not break it, but to get a firm purchase. Finally, she brought it close to the clan borders and set it down in relief, a sigh escaping her lips. Inside was a delightful surprise, well at least to a kitten.

    Mainly out of curiosity, the kit listened to her desr mother soeak for a while, soaking uo all the details.


    Demi-gods, senteries, palm readers, children, scholors . . . The names and functions processed through the kit's mind as she thoughtfully glanced around, eyeing the newcomer. She, too, is new sk she decided not to talk in case she meesed something up.


    She also caught a word. Noblelands. What were they doing, messing around with Storm Clan? A nationalism feeling ran down her spine as she stared at the ground.

    Charity saw the suffering cat and, scared, dove behind her mother's protective body with a yelp od surprise for she was totally caught off guard.


    "What happened?" she asked, eyes widening and mouth agape as her tailtip trembled a little. She watched the wounded cat talk about his, or her, injur.
